Nice truck dude! After looking at your pics, I'm absolutely convinced that the 4Runner Limited and the Hilux Surf SSR-G bodies and frames are identical.
Except yours has the steering wheel on the wrong side...

Sweet I love the black, where did you get the chrome tail pipe peace, oh and your door is open
Any reason you decided on a V6.
That hood deflector looks good, still undecided if I should get one, in the end it is just more for me to clean
What do you mean by Hilux Surf SSR-G, is that another truck what truck

Impulse,
Yeah, the Limiteds w/ the matching fender flares looks the best. I really wish they'd color key that rear bumper....errr...whatever that thing is! Otherwise, nice ride! Hey, as a former black 4runner owner, do yourself a favor and buy Zaino Bros (http://www.zainobros.com) to keep her shiny and a good lambs wool wash mitt and/or boar's head brush for washing. That crap you buy at the auto parts store will swirl your paint like Daniel-san.

Kctopher,
Your correct, they are the same with the exceptions you noted.
Here is a picture of my 2003 Hilux Surf SSR-G:
Oh, yea, you can't get the hitch receiver here that is standard on the 4Runners. I think I finally got one ordered from a Toyota dealer in Texas.

Cool, it's got lighted running boards. It's the little things that count. You've got a great looking ride there. Enjoy it.
It sure does look like Christmas lights. But that is impossible. No one with such a nice truck would leave Christmas lights up this long, right?

The manual states that 87 is fine for either engine and higher octane will give added performance but I can't find the added performance:cry:

sorry i just got home ive been in deleware the last three days.
NO they are not christmas lights. Its an american flag that lights up. HEHE
I choose the v6 for one it is cheaper, and this was a stretch for me to begin with, still got alot of student loans im only 23. Getting a v8 would be like almost 3 grand more. Besides saving a few bucks its got plenty of punch for me i had a 95 explorer that needed to be floored to move. I dont tow anything, and i live in the city the only trails this thing gets is a beach i can get onto during a small portion of the year. Yes i know it likes premium but were talking 150 bucks at most a year for me extra.
I put a chrome exhaust tip on it, i think it gives it alittle more characater.
Yes my door is open, i was on my way out when i took the pictures.
Love the truck so far no complaits except it needs more cigarette outlets for my stuff. First small mod on the list.
Oh and i love the bug guard it fites perfect its a Lund if anyone is interested.

I love it so far just a few things ive noticed.
The starter is a cool idea, just turn the key and start it.(read on) You dont have to hold it, the car will will continue to turn itself till it starts.
The rear mirrors in the cargo area in the top corners are a great idea that all suvs should have you can see your bumper and anyone right next to the vehicle in the blind spots.
Ride is very smooth and comfortable.Very quiet inside the car.
Like the double decker cargo, wont be crushing anything in the back. Makes it possible to optimize the space.
The fan under the hood seems alittle loud outside the truck but you cant hear it inside the car. Or maybe its just not what im used to.
Lack of lights on the door controls, cant see any while driving. Only thing that lights up is the driver window button. Interior lights dont go on when you open the door. Just the door and running board lights go on. Anyone know how to change this???
Something cool though you leave any of the interior lights on when you get out of the car and lock it. They are automatically turned off.
If i think of anything else ill post, if anyone has any questions just ask.
