My First 4Runner.

My First 4Runner.
I recently bought my first Toyota vehicle. It's a 1999 SR5 4Runner with a 3.4L v6 and 4wd. I bought it from my mom. She gave me a good deal on it She got a new 2005 4runner to replace it. I'm only 19 and I'm a college student. I was driving a 1984 chevy silverado, but I think this will be a LOT more dependable for college, and more fun to play with
Anyway, it has a manik grille guard and manik tail light guards, but other than that, it's basically stock. (It does have a husky cargo liner, too.)
I want to deck it out with all kinds of stuff. It's all about money though. There is so much stuff for these things it's mind boggling
I wanna get the TRD S/C, the Underdog Racing Development S/C kit, when I do this I will send the tranny valve body to Level 10 to get the valve body upgrade so the extra power of the s/c doesn't mess up the tranny. (Is this really necessary? I read about it on Gadget's website.)
After I get the engine tricked out, I want to start with the offroad stuff. Heavy duty rear and front bumpers, and a 2-3" lift with 33-35" tires and nice wheels.
Then I'll start on the stereo system. I won't go there right now.. too much too explain. I'll talk more about it when the time gets closer. It'll be a while before i get it decked out like I want it. A long while and a lot of money from now

You are fortunate to get your hands on such a new runner at your age. I am 21 and in college also and my 91 I bought 3 years ago was as new as I could afford. Like you, I really like personallizing and improving my runner. Best of luck to you and your runner!
