My engine fan is running all the time. Normal?

Sorry, I didn't mean to be a jerk, I guess I could have worded that second post differently. I am glad you got it sorted out though, it really is amazing how much power that fan robs. I would do an electric fan swap but I feel a properly working belt driven fan is the most reliable choice.
It was the OEM fan clutch also.

Every 3.4L V6 (5VZ-FE) engine I have ever listened to has always had the fan spinning when it first starts up (roaring). Mine does it. But after a little bit, it turns off but the fan is still spinning only not at the same speed. I figured that when it turns on when you first start up it is normal. If the temp outside is about 50-60 mine rarely turns on unless I am going really slow or up a canyon. If the temp outside is closer to 80-100 then mine is at least at half speed all the time. I can hear the difference between off, half on, and full on just like an electric fan on pretty much any car.
