Guys I went with a 2" BL from Performance Accessories. It was a great kit and came with everything needed. Installation is pretty straightforward. The instructions are very thorough. Only hit a couple of snags with brackets and things like that but I have seen that on every body lift I've seen. I have zero rubbing issues with only having 2". A 4" suspension lift would be nice but when you compare prices the BL is REALLY nice. $110 compared to $1000 + installation. Scofco I like my Yak Rack. To be honest I haven't really used it much yet. I bought it mostly to haul camping gear on and stuff since I travel around alot flying and racing motorcycles.

That's one wicked 4Runner. Love the Mts. in the photo - If I did not live at the beach I would live in a place like that. 90' and sunny today - water temp. 75'
Flori-duh is getting kind of boring.

Good job!

Looking good Joey. The other advantage of doingthe BL is that you don't stiffen up the stock suspension to the point of it not flexing well anymore.

Looks great! I just moved up to 33's last night. I need some aftermarket rims like yours though. They really make a difference. BTW, Welcome back.

Yeah man,
I remember see'n that thing over seas back in the day (ha, did I just say that?) when it was pretty much stock. How did you mount your lights so you could keep your farring on?

btw scofco, I love my load worrior. Go ahead and go all out with the cross bars because its easy to break the stock ones when you have the basket. (ive done it twice :pat: )

Austin ya it's been nice being back in the states where I can do the big mods. It was just way to expensive to ship anything over there to England. Between my flares and exhaust I had $200 just in shipping costs!
Here's a closeup of the custom light brackets my dad fabbed up for me

This is before I painted them black when we were just doing some fit testing. The fairing fits back on behind the lights.

Your rig's lookin pretty sweet man.

So, this may be an optical illusion, but how tall are you? That pic of you getting out of your rig makes you look really short.

How tall is your rig now? Can you measure from ground to top of fender for front and back?

Wasn't sure if you were being sarcastic but I'll go ahead and answer. I'm sitting on a pretty good slope and my foot is still about 18 inches off the ground there even though it looks to be in the ground...BTW I am short too.... I'm 69 inches tall

Ben ya I'm going to have to make a trip back over that way again sometime.

wow - your truck looks real nice!

anyone know why on the performance accessories site, it only lists the 2" and 3" BL kits for manual transmissions? I was hoping to grab one for my 91 v6 auto

thanks

Perf. Acc. & others alike offer the blocks, bumper kit, & radiator kit but not the automatic relocating bracket that Roger Brown offers. Rogers parts are just flat out better quality than the others. Want cheap then go with the others. Want quality then go with Roger. The 91 3" body lift with an auto will run shipped to your door around $230. that is with EVERYTHING you need to lift a 2nd gen runner with an automatic.
