4"????
No way... stock?? If it is true, I wouldn't use it. Your going to have no torque what so ever. With a forced induction vehicle (espcially a turbo) the less backpressure the better. See, the turbo will provide all the backpressure you need on top of the fact taht the turbo is blasting as much air into the engine as possible, so the more backpressure you add on = powerloss. With our N/A trucks its quite opposite, not only are our engines designed for torque not high end hp they don't have that backpressure provided by the turbo. C'mon, you can get a muffler for under $50. Check 96Runner's sig, he has a setup installed for $50 or something like that.
As for tubing, I wouldn't say its worth it. I didn't do it. I figure I'd just keep it cheap til I S/C it and then it will be a little more worth it. Or if I get a rear bumper I will intagrate it so its protected from rocks as mine is already bent up from tellico. Though with the body lift it doesn't look too bad with it bent...

still the point is the inside is 4" and if you are going to run an small to large adapter to the muffler then a large to small adapter out of the muffler... its just dumb... serious... it wont give you the right backpressure becasue again ,its for a car thats a turbo and probably ppushes out almot 3 times your power numbers
