MT vs. AT throttle body

MT vs. AT throttle body
Hey-o,
I have a 99 4Runner 3.4 5-speed and need a new throttle body to fix my high-idle/surging acceleration issues. For the life of me, I cannot find the exact part for my truck, but there are tons of TBs for automatic trans trucks.
From visually inspecting it, the only difference is that the MT throttle body has the dashpot, and the AT does not (just has a plate there instead). Does anyone know if there is any other difference? Were I to remove the plate from the AT throttle body and put on the dashpot, would it work? Is there any difference in computing, etc.?
Thanks.
