In addition to the erosion control project listed HERE, there's a tree planting project for anyone who can get away on Wednesday, Sept. 24th (copy from another board)

Hello everyone!
Finally an opportunity to plant a few trees in the Hayman burn area.
Your help is needed. It turns out the planting will be a weekday. I hope some of you can get off or use some stored sick or comp time?

Who: Denver Water is sponsoring the trees and Colorado State Forest Service is putting together all the technical stuff.
How Many: We need at least 50 competent adults. Please sign up by email to info@uppersouthplatte.org
Equipment supplied: augers, dibbles, and bars
What you need to Bring: old clothes, knee pads if you need them, good sturdy foot gear and extra socks, gloves, shovels, water and lunch.

I'll be there!
I posted this on the CO4ROC site a couple weeks ago. It'll be nice to get 4ROC out there.
COME ON, COLORADANS, LET'S GET TOGETHER AND SHOW THE MEDIA THAT 4-WHEELERS ARE NOT THE ENEMY!

If planting doesn't seem fun enough, bring along a single female and watch Alan in action. He's special.

Due to the lack of a full-size spare and a slash in my regular tire, I won't be there. New tires will be here a week from the 24th.

This sounded so fun. I had to work for the hay bail outting, and I'm still trying to convince my mom to let me wheel. I talked to a friend at school, and he thought it sounded fun too. So if another trip gets planned, PM me about it. I'd probably need like 3 weeks notice to get everything lined up, work, friends, mother, but I think it'd be awesome breaking my truck in on its first trail and helping out the community. Let me know.
