I don't know about you guys, but if I go I want to wheel with only 4runners, because I'm not going to make a trip to wheel with a wide variety of trucks, which I do at home every other weekend. Is this what Steve did when he took the 4runners out to play?

I wish he would jump in here, perhaps these bumps will get him to chime in.

Last year, Az Rocks was a TTORA event. Steve took out runners incident to it, AZ4RJ as some have said.

Either way, it is all Toyota Products.

The biggest and best group to catch up with though is the Toyota 4-Runner Jamboree, something cool about 150 plus rigs from Toyota buggies to stock runners and Tacos.

Depending on your tranny or how much wheeling you do, some t-case gears could be a help. A locker and sliders will get you onto a whole lot though. Search on here for Arizona people, see what they have and see what trails that gets them on.

ok. looks like i am going with locker, rear bumper, sliders, and some under protection. that adds up to about 1100 dollars. and what is k-fab, and do your belly pan(s) bolt on? should i buy a cb radio, longer travel shocks or anything else? thanks for the help everyone you've really gotten me in the mood. i mean, i had it before, BUT NOW I HAVE IT. its a great feeling though, and the comments that you get once you do something to your truck is priceless. again, thanks. ~kyle

A CB should go without saying, it makes trips a lot more fun.

K-Fab is my welder's shop here in Wisconsin.

Most importantly, get some seat time with your new mods. That will make a ton of difference between being equipped to run the trails and belonging on the trails.

FYI, read the page from last year. Only new trucks are on the invite and Steve has said that he is not doing organizing for Runners only stuff.

Steve had said it was from an early '90s Pathfinder. I don't have anything more specific than that.

Is that Steve Schaeffer you're referring to? I'll have to check with him, and thanks for the info.

Sorry Chris. Yes, it was Steve Schaefer that mentioned it.

Thanks man! I' just emailed him, because I am so sick of high centering on my gas tank. This past weekend, I hit it so hard that it shifted over just enough to get caught on my driveshaft. So, I had to get under the truck, and beat the gas tank over where the driveshaft was hitting, which I've heard of others having to do too, but it was never a problem before. Oh well, but I would love to have the added clearance up under there, especially to mount some air tanks possibly.
