missing body mount bushing ?
i was washing my truck and notice that there was a part missing on the middle body mount on both sides ... the other to mounts the bushings are all there is this normal cause if one was missing i could see the problem

pretty sure it supposed to be like that..something to do with if you have a accident, it prevents the body from ripping off the frame...don't quote me on it though

Was there a body lift on it? Its supposed to be up on top.

The middle ones on both sides of my 01 look like that, and always have

Yes, somewhat normal for the 3rd gens. Sort of a strange bushing design but that is the way the came from the factory.
