MIl/Check Engine Light smog fail
I failed my smog test due to the functional test of the CEL. It didn't "complete all OBD tests" Battery is good, not disconnected in 1000 miles. Just driven 800 miles, it runs great! Had a second shop try it again after driving 12 miles, no go again. Now what?

Well, the EVAP system takes a very long time to set. Mine takes about 800 miles sometimes even longer to set. There is no set drive cycle that you can force the EVAP system to set. You got to just drive it. I have talked with many shops about this and they are just puzzled at how long it takes to set, in fact they even argue with me about it. Most sensors set within about 200 miles. EVAP must be the one you are missing. EVAP is definitely a PITA to get it to set......
Good luck, keep driving because it definitely takes more than 12 miles.....
