So here it is, in the pic it looks like the headrest is crooked and it indeed is, my back seats don't line up perfectly, the right seat is slightly ahead of the left seat, but you can push on the seats and they do line up...think i could make some slight adjustments to make it even but then again i don't sit in the middle seat in my truck

Well, if you like it then thats all that matters. The way I see it is it's not functional (as head rests are mainly for protection in rear end crash) and it blocks some of the view out the back window so I don't think I would ever do this mod. Just my 2 cents.

haha yea i agree, its most likely not going to hold up in an accident but i am sure it will be safer than having nothing there.
The main reason why i did it was for when we go snowboarding, i feel sorry for the person in the b!7@h seat (almost always one of the girls), having a 3hr ride with no head rest hurts like hell.
i checked it and its really not blocking much of the rear view, its made so its easily removable, if i need a better rear view or have to drop only one side of the bench seat i just slide the headrest up and out of the brackets.

Also don't hijack another thread
and lastly, you are in the wrong forum for a 2003 4runner
To answer your question try any of a variety of auto wrecking yards, not very expensive and you should be able to find what you need. also try the for sale section of YotaTech

nice job on the idea and install dude.. i would have personally tried to figure out a way to mount the headrest like the others in between the cushioning. i can say that i might be doing this since i know how it feels to have to sit in the middle and be on a long car ride and now have a headrest to use to take a nap on.
