i'd love to do the cs144 alt but i'm a 3.4 swap so space is already limited to the steering shaft. How close was yours?

Hey, you got a nice setup going... that's a badass alternator! I'm debating on whether to install my stuff into the 4runner. Two RF bd1500's with an Orion "Wired" multiple battery regulator (MBR 70). Capacitors are kinda a waste of money in my opinion-- that alternator is the way to go.

Thanks. I love that alternator! It dropped only 0.5volts at full tilt. That was at idle. Yes capacitors are a waste of money.
