manual hubs?

what year did they quit offering manual hubs on tacos?

i believe 2001, ive seen them first gen tacos 95.5-97 and second gens, 98-00, but never on 2001+, even the base models

Must have been 2000, at least for the v6. In 01 you couldn't even order it on the ex cab V6.

Unhappy Bad Move

Chances are, if Toyota offered manual hubs from the factory as an option, I would be driving a 2003 or 2004 Tacoma right now. Not having choices is bad! A 4-wheel drive truck should have manual hubs offered a a FACTORY option...!
The current offerings from Toyota don't really do much for me.

I like the old stuff!

yeah, toyota(and many other companies) are getting bad about not giving us the options we want nowadays

if i had my way, i'd get a tacoma with no abs, no air bags, manual steering, a v6(regular cab), a manual transmission and t-case, and locking hubs

kinda makes me long for the days of this again:

Manual steering? No way would I ever drive a truck with Armstrong steering again. It sucks azz.
