manual hub spring and bearing?
I bought some aisin hubs to convert from ADD and took them apart today to clean them. I was very careful about watching for the bearing when I pulled the dials from the covers. One of the hubs was much dirtier than the other and the clean ones bearing and spring came right out of the dial. The other one, well it had no bearing. I pulled the dial out real slow so I could catch it but it wasn’t there. I had to pull the spring out with a pick. I guess you can see where I'm going with this.
Has anyone needed to replace that bearing, if so where did you get it? I will go by the dealer tomorrow, but I have a feeling they will laugh at me. Any ideas where I can find one?
Thanks- Mat

hey mat!
if you have a bearing supply store near by, take the one you have there and see if they can match it up. just tell them what its from and you should be on you way in short order. i took the worn bearings from my rollerblades in to my local shop and they had them in stock. shouldnt be a problem. hope this helps.

Dealer couldnt help, said they dont service any of the internal parts. Called a bearing place and they didnt just have anything like that. So I ended up going back to the salvage yard a picking up another one.
