Maglite Question
I went out and bought a Mag-lite tonight and mounted it with the clips to the back of my rear seats! It looks awesome and fits great as well. I got a 3-D cell red (to match my rig's color ). The reason I got a 3-D cell, is because that is the size that fit the best back there. It couldn't be more than 14" long and it was not. So now I have a red Mag-lite mounted in the back for when the time arouses that I may need to see in the dark. Cool. Thanks to those who got this idea started for me (Corey and others).
But I do have a question for anyone with a Mag-lite. I got a 3-D cell, like I said. But before I bought it, I went to the web-site and saw that there is the feature of a 3 way switch, on, off, and alert. Does anyone know how to work the third feature. From what I read, the light flickers on and off continously in this mode. Does anyone have any idea how to do this. I read on my box that the light came in that it had a 3 way switch, so I am assuming this is the same feature. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :fireman:

I don't know if my flashlight is older than your's and different, but I have one button that has 3 settings:
-on
-off
-flash
If I hold the button slightly without depressing it fully, the light stays on for as long as I hold the button. This is great for times when you just need to shine the light for a sec and have it go off, or if you need to do morse code with it with or without colored lenses.

How do you get it to flash though, or is it just a manual thing you have to do? Is is another setting of do you do it by yourself? Thanks! :fireman:
