FINALLY! Now I can put EVERYTHING on my rig!

FZJ80 Rear (long side) coils... I think... the stickers on the coils say "Spring, Coil RR"... What does that mean? "Rear Right"??
Aisin hubs (rebuilt, regreased, ready!)
Marlin extended brake line
SDORI 1.5" BJ Spacers
Downey 3" Panhard drop
Cardone Select CV halfshafts (NOT reman)

I WILL! and unfortunately, yes they're busted. The front end makes this god awful noise when moving slow (probably the same at any speed, can just hear it better when going slow). I actually still need to buy some wheel bearings (or just repack mine). Anyone know what kind (cup or cone) of wheel bearings I need for the inners... how about outers?

Yes, the RR does mean "Right Rear" as in the right, rear/long side springs off of the FZJ80.

You've got ya a good day or two wrenching on the weekend there and would like to see some before and after pics, plus, I'd like your opinion on the "feel" of the ride difference with the new coils from that of the old.

Also, while you've listed the cost of the sliders (nice deal there, by the way), I'd also like to know what all you ended up paying for everything else, if you'd care to share.

I'd be happy to share with you guys the price AND before/after pics! I'll get the price for everything to you guys as soon as I get everything worked out. Also, on the coils... I notified toyotapartsales.com (where I bought the coils) and they said that the left side was supposed to be the longer side. I ordered the left sides, and they said that the RR's aren't the right ones so they're going to get UPS to pick them up and send me the left sides... I'm kind of confused now... It's been like half and half... people have said the right is the longer side, people have said the left is the longer side. I asked the guys at IH8MUD.com and they told me left side (one told me right side)... Toyotapartsales' explanation was that the driver's side is usually the long side. Please help! I'm going to take measurements on these (from the flat bottom, to the end of the coil at the top). That way, I'll know for sure when the new ones get here which are the long side... *sigh* I may have to wait for them to send me new ones... any other help would be nice on the debate of which coil is longer (assuming you're sitting in the driver's seat)... left or right?

Ok... the "RR" coils have an uncompressed length of: 17.75"

why not just buy the repacking boots and grease? Are your axles completely messed up? I just replaced a boot last week. My outter boot on the passenger side is messed up but I am just ordered a reboot kit that has 2 boots, grease and rings. I have the same annoying rattle you have, but I sure dont think I have a broken axle! I wanna see pics of all that stuff. Looks like a bunch of work but it'll look good.

I got them from partsamerica.com. I like the way they're built, the only thing is, I think partsamerica's warehouse monkeys are idiots. The outer dust shields are bent a little bit, but I bent them back out. They were $119 w/ no core charge. They look pretty beefy. If you're looking for NEW CV's, get the Cardone Select (like me), or if you're alright with remans, you can get the Reman style (Cardone A1's). Hope this helps you out!

My boots have been f'd up for a while. So, I figure I'll just get brand new cv's.. then if at all possible "rebuild" my old ones for use as spares. Is the rattle really noticeable while decelerating? I'm thinking my wheel bearings are dry also... I'll just repack those (if they're in good enough shape to repack), or I'll just buy new stuff. I can't wait to get this stuff on... Here's a bigger pic of my avatar. This will be one of the "middle" pics... not quite before, not quite after! hahahah

well i tell ya what, I've had this rattle for a year and I am finally getting around to fixing it. It's a rattle between 5-20mph, accelerating and decelerating. It's LOUD. Metal on Metal for sure. I could get in there and my axel be completely jacked..but I'm hopin it aint. My boot was never broken during the rattle, or so I never thought. My steering parts ie the steering relay rod and idler arm are super loose. I am almost 99percent certain, that is where the rattle is coming from. I haven't seen my wheel bearing in the front passenger side, but my driver side was great. Now, if the new cvs don't fix the rattling, and the Idler arm rebuild with new bushings don't cure it...I'll be darned. Unless its the balljoints(which seem to be ok) or the soon to be relay rod. Who knows but since I'm gettin ready for a 1200 mile trip, I gotta fix the stuff.
My cv boots, grease and bracket things should get in tomorrow from the dealer, as well as the bushings and seal for my idler arm. I hope to get that stuff on tomorrow or over the weekend. Oh..and my sliders are supposed to get here tomorrow!

gl with everything. I hope that rattle of yours goes away. It's so annoying. I have no guarantees if mine will or not. I really hope so though.

NICE! Well good luck with everything! Tell me where it came from! I'm going to just put on the cv's, repack (or buy new) wheel bearings, and manual hubs on this monday (since the mix up with the coils... *sigh*). Does someone know what the exact coil I need is? I really want to get this out of the way...
