It really depends on the plans you have for your rig. Personally, I would go with a 1" or 2" depending on future tire size plans.

I am happy with my 1" RB BL. One of the best mods I did so far.

If you have any other questions, fire away!

If you find chrome mirrors, wanna sell me your old ones? as long as they aren't red, green, or any of those colors. Desert Dune or Black will be fine. My Passenger Side mirror had an unlucky run in with a Jersey Wall

only way to get the chrome stuff is through the dealer, and its really expensive -- each door handle is like $65, and its the whole assembly.

ive combed ebaymotors for months hoping to see them for a 3rd gen, to no avail.

go with the 3 inches

I cant help you with the first few things, I am shopping for a skid plate for my 97 4runner as well and its slim pickings so far...as far as the lift, i had a 3 inch daystar lift installed and i love it, its the highest one sold i believe based on information from a little over a year ago. I put 275-60-20 tires on and i think it looks great. if you want pics i can send them to you but i wouldnt go with anything less...good luck

Hey, turn your CAPS LOCK off.

If you search "BL" or "Body lift 3rd gen" you will find everything you need. Roger Brown (4Crawler) makes arguably the best kit around. And, to top it all off his service rocks. I was having trouble with my install (my fault) and I gave him a call. I couldn't get him off the phone! He was more than willing to help.

If you can change spark plugs and/or rotate your tires, you can do the BL install. The directions are self-explanatory.

They have to be imported from Japan. I know it's over $100. If you still are interested, let me know.
