Look what I got as a rental car!!

I went in today for my 60k service, and needed a rental car. Well the girl in front of me got a little dinky corolla, and when it was my turn I asked if I could get something more beefy than a dinky car. But all he had was a camry, I asked if he had a solara, or a matrix, and he said no, so i was like fine ok whatever.

Well when he gave me my receipt I looked down and saw "Blue 4runner" I was like hmm....my 4runner is tan though....and I looked up and he pulled up in this baby.

I was like awww yeah!!! So I basically had this for a full day test drive from 8 in the morning till 5 in the evening. It's a really nice car, I definitly like these more, but still don't like the plastic sides and bumpers, it's just too fake and too fragile for me. however I did like the hood scoop.

The interior is faaaar more spacey than my 3rd gen. and more luxurious. Plus I was diggin the 17" alloys

First time I've heard of a 33 thousand dollar car as a rental car from a dealership!!! My friend got a focus the last time her car was in service at nissan HAHAHA

btw it costed 265, is that a good price?

Luck you! When the dealer paid for my rental car, the gave me a stupid Honda Civic. Consider yourself real lucky! Did you at least abuse it?

You are a very lucky guy! When I took my Runner for a gasket recall, they gave me Ford F150 for a rental. And I abused the living crap out of that F150 because at that time I was building my fence.

$265.00 bucks probably ain't bad considering they gave you a 33 thousand dollars rental car.

Haha yea, I felt pretty lucky today. Especially since the chick in front of me got a corolla haha. I wanted to take it and play by the river, but didn't really have the time and didn't feel like gettin it dirty, it looked so clean and new!!

Yea the low mileage on my truck is the main reason I paid so high, when I got it back in 2000 it only had 28k mi and I paid $21k

paid high? I would say that's a good price for that little mileage and it looks to be mint even now. I love the resale value of toyotas, although, mine will never be resold, .

I knew a guy in high school who test drove a nissan (I think). He sunk it into a 3-4 foot mud bog. They yanked it out cleaned it off and dropped it off at the dealer's a day later, I feel sorry for who ever bought it.

Oh you should see what my roommate does with rental cars. He has an Acura Integra Type-R that is ALWAYS in the shop.

His last rental was an Acura TL. It was a 5-speed and he stuck the parking break on and lit the tires up all the way down the street. We still have black marks on the street. Then he showed us how to do power slides in the parking lot around the corner. I bet he did $400 worth of damage to the tires in 2 days. Damn!
