Little Help Finishing Up 5-Speed Swap Transfer Case Wiring?
I've pretty much finished swapping an R150 into my '98 Limited. I also swapped in the manual J-shift transfer case for pushbutton one in the Limited. The tranny and transfer case came out of a '99 SR5 Sport. I kept the original wire harness from the '98 and bought a '98 manual ECM so everything seems to be running pretty good. I've gotten the clutch cancel/clutch pedal switches and reverse lights all wired up, I think I might even get my cruise to work.
Anyway, one of the remaining issues I would like to solve is how to wire the T-case so the 4WD light comes light up on the dash when I engage 4WD. I have the proper pigtail for the transfer case switch connecter but I don't know where to wire it into the wire harness.
I think I will have to permaclose the circuit that went to the electronic selector switch (I believe T3 in the pic), but which connector off of the original wire harness should go to the 4WD switch on the transfer?
Am I going about this all wrong? Appreciate advice.
