Lift and Tires Installed PICS!

Installed RB 2" body lift and 16x8 Series 97 Pro Comp Rock Crawlers wrapped in 285/75R16 Pro Comp MT's. Had a bit of rubbing on the front bumper and fenders so I did some trimming with my dremmel. I snapped some pics with my camera phone. I'll have some better pics next weekend when I hit the trails.

Looks good, but, I think would look nicer w/o the hub caps or paint them black!

Ya....I think I'm gonna powder coat the caps and lugs black. I don't want to remove them completely cuz then the hub will show and will look worse.

looks good! i wouldn't paint the lugs if you paint the hub caps only because you need some sort of barrier there from all the black. But the Satoshi Grille looks really nice! Good work!

Thanks for all the compliments! Anyone know if a 285 will fit in the spare tire position? I still have my old 265 under there.

I'm gonna buy another 285 and matching rim. I might just pick up a new rear bumper with the swing away tire carrier.

GR8 Looking Runner OSU, thanks for your comps to my posting. First I do like what you did with your side floods on the rack, the angle off to either side, very sharp I bet it provides for some expanded vision on the trails.

The suggestion to powder coat the caps would be the best long term solution and it will make the entire wheel look blended and not draw your focus to the wheels but see the entire truck. Very nicely done though.

As for your tires, I think you will find the taller tire will not fit up under the carriage where your OEM spare lives. The optimum idea you have hit on, tire carrier on the rear. The new bumper is good but you might be able to save some cash and investigate finding an early Gen 2 with the swingaway carrier, might be too envolved but hey, that would be time well spent!
