33x1250s will fit with the proper wheel on a 3" body lift.
my suggestion: dont get a 3" body lift. save for the PC or Superlift kit or get some rear coils and new t-bars and get a 1 or 2" body lift.
install will be a pain, gotta extend just about everything. expect it to be a weekend project.

Most 2nd genners get the Downey HD rear springs and crank the Torsion bars a bit. You'll need the full 3" rear suspension lift which includes the spacer to fit 33s. You might also have to do some fender trimming in the front after you crank the T-bars to fit the 33s. Don't crank the T-bars until you get some manual hubs installed to reduce wear on your CVs.
If you wanna go to 33s x 12.5" tires you'll be needing some non-stock 8" wide rims. Once those are on your speedo and odometer will be off and you may notice a real change in power from your engine. If this is the case, look into re-gearing your differentials to a 4.88 or 5.29 ratio.
33" tires are the point where you really have to jump through hoops to make it work. I'm sure you can see how one thing leads to another.
My suggestion to you if you wanna save some time and money would be to get the Downey HD coils, some AISIN hubs from a wrecker, crank your T-bars a little and put some 32 x 11.5 tires on your stock 7" rims. This would be a good start and then go wheeling.
Also, search this site and the internet for info as there's plenty out there for the above topics. You should have no problems doing it all yourself.
Good luck,
Warren

Kyle, see this post.
If you want to run 33" tires on a 2nd gen 4Runner, a 1" body lift from 4Crawler, a crank on the T bars, and Downey HD coils in the back with their 1.5" spacer add on will let you run 33's with ease.
Putting on a big body lift like you are thinking of is nothing but trouble.
You'd have to fab up new front bumper mounts, extend your shifters, radiator.
With a 1" body lift, you don't have to do that.
Your rig will sit like the black truck basicaly if you do that, and be able to fit 33" tires.
You will also save a lot of money over an IFS lift kit to achive the same thing just to fit 33" tires on.
But, going to a 33" tire is also going to effect your stock gearing.
PS, Warren, we were thinking the same thing at the same time
