Shazam- you could always recover the door panels in matching vinyl. If you don't want to do it, have an upholster or car interior place do it the material is like 12 a yd.

I don't think it's that bad. It reminds me of the interior in the 40th Annniversary Land Cruiser.

This is easier said than done. I've done alot of vinyl work when I worked in the car audio field. Recovering the curvy forms in modern interiors requires vinyl that stretches in both directions, flawless panel prep, and perfect adhesion so you don't have the vinyl pulling away at a later date. These are vacuum formed in the factory, so some of the shapes cannot be recovered by hand. The 2 way stretch vinyl is only availalble in so many colors and the graining typically doesn't match. If it's that much of an issue, dying the exisint panels is a better solution, but not the most durable.

the katzskin is good stuff. they fit very well, and it's a very good grade of leather. Definitely well made.

the leather cleans up quite nicely. i wouldn't worry about leather seats feeling cold, the truck's heater works well enough.

even if you couldnt get it in the color you want you can still get it and have it dyed out. That is what I would do being I would do a color matching with my exhisting interior then know I have the correct match and not a blue that in the companies opinion ends up being a blue green. good luck and which way being you have plenty of choices.

ooh....I've done this bout year ago. I went with a merchant off of ebay(perforated grey). The kit was selling around 6-700 for about a year but was finally on clearence, so i got it for $430. The guy said that these are one of the kits that he ships off to dealers. Installed it myself and very happy with how it turned out. Leather is still holding good, no tears or discoloration. If you decided to install it yourself, expect about 2days of working time and 1week of sore hands.

BTW: you can check my webshots below and check "interior pics"
*Wrinkles straighten in couple of months*

When selling your rig, you'd actually get $450 added for having leather seats so it's an investment you cant' go wrong with.
