Don't know about the 3.4's but I know my 3.0 has coolant hoses right above the rear center of the motor. just follow them hoses down and feel around. may wanna put a glove on because if you do it while its hot then ya may get a little burned. best way i could tell..

Yeah, there should be one back there. You can see it better with the intake manifold off, which really isn't that hard to get off to be honest. I could probably get that thing off and back on again in under 2 hours just to give you some kind of time frame.

Maybe Jamie can post a picture of what I am talking about since he seems to have it on PDF (I don't).

thats just a reallllly small leak...nothing significant comes out of that. Im going to replace that too.

964runner said that there is one behind the manifold...i bet you its that one that is leaking.

You did have a good point though....how did they know it was a gasket instead of a hose??

The guy asked me "youve been overheating huh"?

i havent been ovreheating, it sjust that ive been losing coolant and dont want the chance of overheating. Im afraid that they are going to screw with my stuff now

Thats the hose I was referring to...they saw coolant around in the vicinity so they said intake gasket.
