Kong's 4x4 still in business

Is Kong's Off-Road still in business? I was trying to get to their website but the site appears down.

I wanted to look at their SAS kit.

Hoepfully not Runnerless for long.

I would just like to thank Beachtaco here on the board for being a great person to deal with. I just recently purchased his Runner from him, and he could have not been a more stand up guy and I could not imagine dealing with anyone else. He responded to all my crazy inquires prompley and was always available for help thoughout the whole buying process. Thanks again Beachtaco for everything, and I hope you get a new Toy under your belt soon and you can fnally get that SAS under way. Keep us all updated.

Okay now that I have said my peice, someone help this man out and find him some good people to deal with and SAS.

Yeap. It was made entirely out of 3/8" plate bent. The high steer was turned over to Maniac Metal Works, so I assume the front hanger was as well. The Manic employees actually made the front hanger.

You can call them and see if they have any left or will make you one. You will need to call and talk to a human, don't e-mail them.

I assume this is waht you were looking for.

Leaf Spring Hanger Kit
This kit helps you create your own solid axle conversion. The hardest part of doing a solid axle conversion is fabricating a way of mounting the new leaf springs. Once the hanger is on, it's a matter of cutting off the IFS and bolting up the new parts.

KONG'S has made this step much easier with this HUGE spring hanger. This kit welds to the frame and is stronger than the stock cross member! Gussets are provided to tie the hanger into the side of the stock frame/cross member, making this kit stronger than others found on the market! Maximum clearance is achieved by tilting the front of the hanger back at a 45 deg. angle. This provides a smooth surface to push over the rocks while still allowing for maximum strength and a clean look!

Leaf Spring Hanger Kit:

Front 1" Drop Spring Hanger
Weld-on Frame Gussets
1 1/2" Longer Shackles
Rear Frame Tubes

It sold for $249.00
