Keeps blowing fuses
Here's the deal. Managed to hook a battery up backwards on my wifes 98 4-Runner and popped the 100A fuse in the engine compartment. Replaced it and checked all other fuses. Found the 15A dome light popped as well. Upon replacing, it blows right away. Any suggestions on where to check?
As of right now the truck runs, but missing: Dome light, radio, clock (all related to the 15A), alarm, and power locks. Unfortunately, the wiring diagrams in the Haynes manual leaves much to be desired. Any suggestions are appriciated.

U may have also popped/shorted a wire along the way...
Find someone good with a meter to trace it...
Good luck.. I had a similiar problem with a chevy... I had to rip open the dash to find a torn wire shorting to ground...

Thanks for the feedack. Beartracker - I tried disconnecting the battery and then replacing. As soon as I reconnected the battery, it popped. Looks like I'll be trying to track down the shorted wire per Skitz.
Now just where to start?
