Here is my write up with pictures of the paint color/type. This might help you out too Grimpy. The paint has held up great so far!

I'm thinking about ditching these wheels now lol... They look pretty cool on 32's though. I really think it's just the millenium silver... Doesn't look so hot to me... On the other colors, they look sweet...

Hey grimp...with the center caps blending in more with the rig, are you still planning on getting rid of them?
I still think your ride looks good with them on.

So to answer your question, yes I am definately taking these off my vehicle. I also painted the Toyota logo graphite... Looks pretty cool but my mind has already been made to replace these...

Quick update... Getting refunded for the wheels I ordered so it looks like I'm stuck with these for awhile...
Check this thread out for details.

You guys think I should try painting these FJ sob's? I have two cans of the Duplicolor in graphite at home just sitting there... It would suck if I screwed up though because they are still in good shape...

Got any local PC shops in your area? If you can't locate any in the phone book, call a couple body shops and see if they know of any.
I picked up a set of LC wheels about a month ago. The local PC shop had literally hundreds of colors to choose from, so I had 'em PC'd 'Jet Black' w/ clear coat locally (includes all prep work) for $50 each. They came back looking new and I couldn't be happier!
I'd post pics but my damn digital cameras broke... again.

i have a set of the lx450 chrome wheels on my rig (I will try and get pics been rainy here in texas lately) I really like them but i am thinking of either 2 tone or getting them pc black...try a different color before you get rid of them if you paint them its not that hard to clean them off just a little elbow grease.
