Looks great! Glad to see you saved it from certain death and cleaned it up.

I also rescued my Toyota from a bad home. Mine was driven by a female college student for 6 years who got in a front end collision, put some weird dents in the body, burned the carpets repeatedly with cigarettes and then parked it in a field for a year. I cleaned it up, removed all of the hornet nests, changed out the fluids and used a bunch of seafoam and brought the truck back to life. It is now my reliable, comfortable, clean DD and trail rig, as well as my best friend.

Keep posting your progress!

Dan

98+ had the lockers, ive got nothing

As far as bumpers go i think i will custom fab tube bumpers and sheetmetal over them, no winch... ive got a come-along

Im not gunna go through the trouble of locking the front, but the rear will come soon enough. And I probably should get all that stuff knocked out before the lift and tires, the ones now were off my 4Runner and they only have 3,000 on them.

lol nah, i kept putting new oil and seafoam through it every ~200 miles for the first 2 weeks just because of the scary black tar oil nastiness that came with the truck lol.

I bought like 3 cases of cheap oil and a box of fram filters
