Here's Ciaran's kick ass 98 Surf. Notice in the 3rd pic on the right that his Surf has a rear tire carrier like the USA 2nd gens. I love those rear tire carriers!

Ciaran, have any of you guys met up yet. My rig is off the road till i can get a replacment idler arm. Just trying to get some money together to buy one!

@ delboy,
Haven't met any of the other guys yet, well except Maurice when I was buying the '93 Black surf off him
We should arrange a meet for the Irish guys...

Have you tried any of the breakers for the parts you need. I know of a place with a 2nd gen and a 1st gen(removeable roof!!!)

Do you have the address of the breakers you're talking about! Are they open Saturdays? Need to get back on the road soon for a little cost as possible!

Your last name isn't Roche, is it? I used to work with an Irish guy by that name - I think he said he came from your part of the country IIRC. Although I'm guessing your name is probably as common there as mine is here. Thought I'd ask though - ya never know. Small world and all that!
