Input on these wheels, thanks

I had to return my MT Classic Locks because they didn't clear my calipers. Now I'm on a mission to replace them. What do you guys think about these? They are American Racing Teflon Coated "Victor" Series. I don't know the BS or Offset just yet. I'm sizing them up though.

Feel free to post any other ideas you might have. I'm stuck with at least 17's unless I get lucky enough to find a 16" with the right bs and off.

The MT's were 4.5" bs and 25mm off.

Thanks,

Doug

I think they are some better looking rims out there. They just don't look good imo. Kinda reminds me of a Volkswagon Beetle...

Hey 02Runner, get the new AR Mojave with the round holes, I like those better. How much are these anyways?

The Mojaves that were mentioned are right here. I like them too, but I kind of like the idea of black with my white ride. I need to learn to photochop, bad!! These Mojaves are also available in 17".

Dr Z had posted some MB Motoring wheels the other day which were cool, but I don't think they had any 17's.

The Mojaves does come in black! I saw their ads in several 4X4 magazines. These would look killer on your white rig....

If im not mistaken you can get the mojave with the teflon coating. I saw them on their web site and in a mag. I personally think they would look great on your runner. I would love to get them for my taco.

I like the first wheel but I could do without the Morse code around the edge.

Gun metal gray, titanium or black will look the best with your white rig IMHO.

Yea I think they would look good on a white rig but I bet the tire shops would tear that teflon up in no time. I bet there is no fixing that.

I would love to have a set but home repairs are killing me right now.

You guys are right, the Mojaves look 100 times better than the "Victor's". Now I just gotta find a part number for those. I'm off to the Am. Racing web site. Thanks for the input.

If we ever wheel together I'll make breakfast. No need for contributions, I'll be doin' it on the wheels! Non-stick: "Ya see!"

Hey 1st Toy, you don't by chance have a part # for those do you?

Thanks,

Doug M.

What exactly are the benefits of having non-stick wheels? Easy to clean?
Just find the wheel you want and get it powdercoated or something.

Click on the link-they show how nothing sticks to it (like grime, brake dust, grease, etc) good on brake calipers and engines.

I also read that the teflon coating is alot tougher than black steel rims painted so it's more resistant.
