Info on A/C Eliminator Kits
So the A/C compressor on my 3.4 finally crapped out. Its been making an aweful noise even when its off and the A/C finally broke altogether the other day. I just want to get rid of the entire thing since I never use A/C anyway. Does anybody know where I can find an A/C eliminator kit? I cant seem to find any for toyotas at all.

Why don't you just cut the belt to the A/C compressor and call it good?
Not like you need to worry about the clutch freezing due to it not turning since its already toast.
People make this mistake of cutting out A/C components. Just leave it in there, it looks good when your selling it to have an intact A/C system even if it doesn't work.

On the 5vz-fe, there are 3 drive belts. One is for P/S, one is for A/C, and one is for the alternator. Water pump runs entirely off of the Timing Belt.
So if you just remove the A/C belt, and leave the others on (just cut it off so you don't have to remove the other belts) there's no extra slack created. The A/C belt tensioner might rattle, but this can easily be removed as well without messing with the other belts. One 14mm bolt IIRC

I'll check that out, it would be awesome to have. I think the whole pulley/compressor is completely tweaked, Im pretty sure it was from jumping it at pismo lol
