Xcellerator or ?

Anybody know a shop in Houston I can buy either the Xcellerator or the Magnaflow #11255? As always, I want to do the work so I just need to purchase it. hehe.
I had to go listen to the sound clips again, and I guess it really isn't very raspy, just "kinda" raspy at the higher rpms. If you want to call me on my cell phone, I can run outside and start it up for you...

I don't know where you can get them, as it was the first I had heard of them when I had it done last year...

Yes,Yes!!! The Mud Flaps with the Chrome Chick would compliment the "Wabbit Wiskers" nicely.

LOL

"Wabbit Wiskers"...as long as I get my "likeness" cut! Somebody has way too much time with photochop on their hands...:pat:

You could put this hot wabbit on your rear mudflaps with the "Wabbit Wiskers"...

As far as exhausts go...I was looking into getting a custom exhaust, drove by a respected place here in town and without even looking at my rig and barely hearing what I wanted I was quoted $380. Needless to say I just turned and walked out. Do business owners just think people are stupid or what? I'll get the blame parts and do it myself for half that easy. I was figuring on just getting a flow master, a nice loud one, a y-flange to run two pipes and another exhaust pipe like the one I got. Not really looking for any shiny tips.

I got my muffler for like 90 bucks shipped. And it was the stainless steel version too.

That's why I's gonna do it myself. I saw a flowmaster at pepboys today but didn't buy it otherwise I'd be busy tomorrow. I don't want that shiny tip either but I do want it loud, not whistling though . but I'll probably just try to use as much of the existing pipe though, I don't care about dual pokers out the rear, I just want a new muffler. 107k on the stock one and I'm starting to find rusty holes in it.

Toyo_Runner96,

The only diff in the stainless version is the outer skin is stainless right. the inerds of both versions are stainless. is the only advantage that it's stainless on the outside and won't rust on the outside?

you guys are going to kick my ass for noticing this but while at pep boys I saw the front hub sockets, the ones that are just a pipe with one end beat into a hex and the other end has a small strap welded across it with a square 1/2" ratchet drive hole in it. my mind started cranking and I thought to myself, "Woo, Woo! I could weld this in place of the exhaust tip and drill the square into a round hole and Voila! instant Bubb Rubb Wil-sull Tilp!"

That is correct my friend, and the stainless steel version is like 15 bucks more. But can be rust free for A LOT longer.

hmm, I don't care about the looks but only 15 bucks for longer rust free...

I wonder if I can find one in town tomorrow so I can bring it home and slap it on before the game. I'll be three sheets to the wind after it so I gotta do it first, haha. Plus I think we're going to a local pub to watch it with a bunch of other tide alumns.

Rob,

What was the length you got?

I was thinking of mounting it a little more forward and shortening the tail pipe so it shoots out closer and higher to the rear wheel so it is less prone to drag while wheeling. I'll probably go with the 18" body.
