I'm still trying to figure out the hard start issue. It might very well be the starter contacts, but its hard to say. If the vehicle has been sitting for a while, it takes about 2-3 seconds to start. If its off for less than an hour, it starts right up. Making me think that its NOT the contacts, and a fuel delivery issue.
I am going to put in a new filter, but I doubt that will help. My 22re would do this as well, but that was a leaky injector, and I really doubt I have an injector problem.
Idle is decently smooth, but I think it can get better... there is a little bit of a un-steadyness. But, nothing to be alarmed of.
I just replaced the valve cover gasket that was leaking, and the entire valve train looks super nice. No sludge, or issues on the cam lobes.
Also, need a new throttle cable. I am going to try and get one through Death Cougar.
Next, I am going to get a OME lift, keep my 265's and build a roof rack
