Idler arm quesiton
Hey guys I got a question...
I know that I need a new idler arm. I was checking out the prices for a new one. I saw this MOOG one for sale on ebay. I know it says that it fits all toyota pickups but I thought I would double check w/you guys to see if this it the one that i need.
Thanks,
Eric

Hey there, that looks like the one! If you wheel alot than you should add the idler arm gusset from Downey. It will save you from breaking any more in the future! Good Luck...

That is the same one I just put on my '94 PU. When I went to replace the worn, ripped tie rod ends, we noticed both the idler arm AND the pitman arm were bad. The idler arm had tons of "slop" in it. It wasn't bent, just loose and warn. Thing to note the Moog arm is different from Factory Toyota and the Downey gusset will NOT fit, trust me. I have a Downey gusset for the Factory arm if you decide to go with the Factory Toyota idler arm. Let me know if you want it? Shoot me an e-mail: Greg's e-mail
Good luck.

Rebuilding 'em is cheap and easy, as long as they're not bent.
