Mines a 34/78 1000CA I got it from interstate battery last year for $109.99.
They do price match.
I could have also gone over to Costco and got one for $109.99 they sell it there everyday for that price.

Ideally a dual battery is nice for winching but not required.
It will just drain your battery more quickly. I wouldn't winch with the truck off even if I had duals unless I absolutely had to.. A optima yellow top is more suitable for winching than the redtop.

Trust me, you'll be better off with the 34R if you want minimal fuss. Look at where the positive post is in the picture and compare it to what you have now - they're opposite. The 34/78 is a drop in for a 2nd gen trucks but not for your 3rd gen. You're going to have to mount it on its side as previously suggested, or lengthen your cables.

I went to Costco today to see if they had any 34R's. Of course they didn't. In fact, all they had were 75/35 red tops or 34 blue tops. The 75/35 and 35 were only $99.99! They said they don't special order so I had to go with a place on line. I even tried to call before hand to save a trip and I was told that they "don't answer merchandise questions over the phone." WTF! I don't have a membership (parents do) so I'm glad I’m not paying for their friendly customer service

I hate to bring a thread back to life but I'm trying to find the right Yellow Top for my 3rd Gen Highlander and I am wondering what those of you out there with a 3rd gen have bought. Here is a link to one that I think, as long as the dimensions pan out, will work based on the placement of the terminals.
Check it out and lemme know what you think.
