I wandered upon an 85 SFA

Havent posted in a while, but to let you know my 94's motor siezed on the jersey turnpike last week. Anyways, I've decided to swap a 5vz in, but while I locate parts for the swap I picked up a 1985 solid axle sr5 4runner for $325!! It's got 160K+, but she seems to run perfect. A little rusty, but with character. The hood and fenders are new and the tires have good tread.. It didnt offer any problems on the 35 mile drive home, hell even the cruise control and a/c work. she doen't look like much now... but look out for new pics as I work on her.

It's been rolled over, did they fix everything from that?

yea it looks as if it was from a slow moving turnover because there's no considerable denting on the panels or twisting in the frame from what I can see..

if by canopy, you mean removeable top, then yes that's correct.

frame rust isnt too bad, im gonna put it on a lift tomorrow and change some fluids... Anyone know how much an all-pro setup for all 4 springs and drop shackles would cost me? What size shock do I run with the allpros?
