Dude that is frickin awesome! Did any of that get in your cab?? I got stuck like that once, which is why my interior is all custom now...but any how, it was well said with the basic items of recovery gear, even if it was a day trip and some wheelin around.

Definately some MT tires. The main reason I got stuck that time was cus of some stockie Michellins or whatever they are called.

Nice to know you got out!

Got all that stuff, except a lugall.

It's a water tube I bought from Lion Country Supply for my dogs. If I did it again, I would make one. It would be pretty easy with a drainage pipe and a faucet on the front and then a breather tube on the top of it, or you could just buy one. It's really not enough for much of a shower, but you could do it. http://www.lcsupply.com/Product/Dog-...WaterTube.html

Yep, it got the passenger side. I dried it out and cleaned it with a carpet shampooer I have at home. I used my wifes hair dryer to get it dry. I think 4x4 trucks should come without carpet!!!

Down by the border, off of Otay Truck Trail near Dulzura. I will PM you guys with some details.

I went out to shoot my guns, actually pattern my turkey shotgun.

Nice, yeah i dont think you were getting out of there without a winch. Looks similar to what i did haha.

The f150 struggled a little to pull me out.

Yep, looks like how I was stuck. The F150 that pulled me out did not struggle much. The stuff I was stuck it was really soupy.

Do you have a rear locker? And if so could it have helped you get out?
Thanks
Bill

how about before you hit a mud hole put it the elocker on... and in 4 high low gear or 4 low a middle gear you hit the hole with some speed...

you need momentum.. your not in a rock crawler....

no locker. only thing that would have helped is a locker and tires combines and even then chances were slim

i got stuck in gravel like that, i had my overly large friend with me though LOL, he sat on my front bumper, gave me enough traction to get out by myself LMAO.

i could feel my truck tipping over, which is when i made him start holding down the truck while i gunned the piss out of it lol...any tires and gravel don't mix...kinda like most tires and sand lol..it just digs in lol..
