I put my lift on too!
Well, since everybody else seems to be posting about their new lifts, I guess I'll post mine too. I had to go the cheap route for now, with OME 890's in the rear and Daystar 2.5" spacers in the front. Soon I hope to replace with SS 1.2 lift. I got just over 3" in the rear. I was a little disappointed with the front as I only got 1.875" lift. But overall it looks a lot better, because the rear was sagging pretty good before, and now the rear is about 1/2" higher than the front.
Install was more difficult than I thought. Thank goodness my neighbor had tools, knowledge, and experience. We tried compressing the front springs, but gave up and I ended up taking them to Midas to assemble the fronts. 40 bucks was well worth it! We also broke a couple of the stock skid plate bolts. The rear wasn't too bad. After about 8 hours, including running to Midas, we were done.
Anyway, here's the pics:
Thanks for looking.

That black makes that truck look really good I am not really a fan of the newer style runners but that black makes it look real nice.
Like FINK said some bigger tires are in order to really set that thing off.

looks great. Bet that is a nice feeling of accomplishment. Thanks for sharing the pics.
I would discourage larger tires. You are running front mud flaps and most of us can't. Keep that paint looking nice.....just my .02

Clean looking rig! The lift and wheels really set it off nicely. I dig black rigs with hood scoops!
The spacer lift up front wouldn't have been my first choice, but it sounds like a temporary fix for you anyway. You'll just have to see how the front lift holds up over time. My 2.5" Daystars were down to about 1" of lift after a little more than a year. As far as tires, I'd have to agree with Ron on this one, the 265's look pretty good. Nice job!
