what more of an update do you guys need. The center caps .. are still drying. I'm going to pick up some blug lugs hopefully tomorrow ... and thats it. Move on to the Compressor project. If you need any other shots let me know. and I'll update as to how they held up as I go along. Next wheeling trip is in 3 weeks.

come on .. whos next. Total cost on this mod $28 ... no excuse not to do this.

Looks good man, nice rims, and a whole lot lighter than the steelies, although alot more expensive to replace!

Their on Ebay now for about $300. I'm going to keep these, and I'm going to get some Mickey thompsons and mount those on 35s. So that I have an extra set lying around. I don't wheel that hard core (yet) that I should be able to break these.

Thanks for all the compliments guys

the 5 star factory rims are on ebay for about $300 these days. In case I ever wanted to repace them.

But I'm going to get some MT classic IIs and mount 35 swampers on them and then switch back and forth between the MTs and these.

so far christian said his are doing fine. Worse comes to worst . .. I'll just touch them up with some more spray paint.

Update: The glosines has gone down a lot (thank god). I think with some time in the sun and a couple of good car washings .... they will look perfect. So I guess the enamaling process wasn't all that bad.

Thanks! I was waiting for you to chirp in here ... now just waiting for Brian. .. and hes usually the first to bash me.

Yup rear bumper should be here in two weeks. can't wait!

If your not going to get a steel bumper. Then take off the lower valance, and then paint the chrome part black.

They do have a set of hub caps that will fit over the manual hubs, they look like the stock one's but longer, if I get a chance I'll post a picture of the pair I have sitting here.

You could always use your hi-lift jack to break the outer bead off the rim then stuff paper between the tire and bead. Then all you have to do it re-fill the tire when done, no balancing needed.

I was thinking about getting my other set annodized black after I get them beadlocked.
