found one on ebay, worked great. thanks for the help. i was successful. not bad for my first time, however i'm not too sure i got the crank bolt back on as tight as recommended.

Make absolutely sure you got that back on tight enough because you can seriously damage the crankshaft if it comes loose during engine operation.

what did you use to torque it down to 215ft/lbs? my wrench only goes to 150ft/lbs?

Either borrow/rent a larger torque wrench, or borrow/rent a torque multiplier to use with your torque wrench from someplace.

Well, it took me an hour or so to make that piece...so I'll have to see if I can round it up (we're in the process of moving). I bought the big daddy torque wrench at sears. It was like $150, or so...but well worth the extra money!!

more to the point make shure you get the crank pully seated on the keyway right else you wind up with this

well i managed to get it on to spec. she runs great.
