I need a front skid plate for my 93
Any ideas on where I could get one? I've called a few salvages around here and they say they don't have em and they are hard to get. I found one on E-Bay for $1.00 but the guy is in Canada and I'm afraid shipping might be outrageous. I guess I'd even take an aftermarket one as long as it isn't too expensive.
Also, if I knew the dimensions and everything I could probably get someone to make one for me.. so I guess that's an option too.
So, any ideas?
Thanks

I kind of doubt it. Do you have a stock suspension? I threw my old one away after I got my suspension lift because the lift kit came with a different (better) one. Might try one the 4x4 places in Tulsa or OKC and see if they have any from a customer that got a new aftermarket one and didn't want their old one.

I'm pretty sure its stock suspension. I just got it about 2-3 weeks ago and am pretty new to all the 4x4 stuff. So I'll have to take a look and see. But for whatever reason there isn't a skid plate on there, not sure what the original owner did with it. It just seems like something that is fairly important to have, even if I'm not a hard core wheeler yet. But I'll take your advice and check some of the local 4x4 places and see what I can find.
Thanks

The one from my 91 is around back behind the shed, If you mean the radiator protector that goes in the front. Wouldnt call it a skid plate really. More like a slotted pretty piece. IM If that is what ya are lookin for.
