Looking good! Just be careful not to rip that cb antenna mount off while off-roading! I would have ripped that puppy right off if I had it there in this mud hole. Got a huge dent in the good ole chrome from this bugger...

Thanks
Hey KevyWevy, I am looking to get AR-23s in 15x8 soon, but not too soon, strapped for ca$h. When I get em I will put the old ones up for sale. The ash-tray mount was one of my first mods and turned out great. I forget where I first saw the idea.
BTW- I am gonna move my antenna up top when I install my safari-rack.

That mud is from Uhawarrie in Troy NC......But I didn't get a dent Austin.
44Runner, I used to live in Banner Elk and NC4Roc should be up there in January to wheel the West Bowl on Beech Mountain and maybe we can hit up the Globe Road in Blowing Rock (kinda difficult). I now live in Mooresville, 20 min from the QC

Haha... Just kidding! Looks good! If you get the AR-23's you will not be dissappointed! I have them and they look so good, and on top of that, they wipe off really easily.

Thanks all,
I put a lot of time and effort into my ride and don't take handouts except for x-mas and such, something many people my age just don't understand. Next on the list, put my safari-rack on and wire up some lights, add aux. back-up lights, some tail light gaurds, rocker protection, put my locker in when the snow melts and maybe save up for a front trutrac, some husky liners, silverstars, fab up a way to put my hi-lift on the rear bumper and fix that dang rear window/tailgate. Any other ideas or maybe a warning?

When in January are you guys headed up there? What is the deal with wheeling at Beech. Do they just allow that or is it pay to play?
Mooresville huh? I'm always driving by there on the way home.

Hey 'Lam
Love the pics it looks sweet. those horns should keep the pedestrians out of yer way. Be careful if you come up here though our gendarmes have a hard on for folks with stuff that, " might cause injuries to pedestrians." (like getting hit by a truck would'nt). They cited one girl up here who had glued dolls heads and sequins etc. ALL over her car and it was "removed from the road" (read scraped by order of the court, no compensation to her). but they do look cool.
