I dunno what I was thinkin
When i installed my stereo about 2 years ago i put this air freshnet into the A/C vent. Everytime that i started the air it smelled like pina colada. One day i look into the vent to see how it was holding up and.... yea... it was inside of the runner. Where would it have fallen to???... it hasnt caused n e problems (which is why i am just now posting this)
PS... dont ridicule me too harshly... I dunno what i was thinking

interesting ideas
hell shirley , I may call you shirley may I? Most likly that pina colada thingy has fallen down the duct work and is sitting in a bend just above the a/c core it should'nt be a problem from a fire risk stand point because it is a cool surface not like the heater core which gets very hot. However, having said that it is a very nice friendly surface for bacteria, mould, and spores to grow on which could cause allergic reactions or infections (not so nice). To get to it you will have to remove the glove box and disconnect the heater/a/c box from the ductwork and hope fully it will be right there if not you could puch a duster up the ducts and try to find it that way, You might want to do this anyway while you've got it open it's surpirsing what gets in there and your truck will smell better after wards. happy holidays Aviator
