I'm running 315's
I could not pass up 4 315 Dunlop Radial Mud Rovers with 14/32 (out of 17/32 new) for $200, so I got them. I mounted them on a set of black steel wheels I already owned. So far they actually ride very nice on the street, I don't mind the extra noise and I actually like the more agressive look. The only rubbing I have on the street is on the frame when turned to full lock, the wheels are 8" with 4 3/8" BS. The rubbing is kind of annoying, I like the Toyota turning radius and that is shot. I haven't taken them off road yet.

daaang jim. that looks badA$$. now thats what the black steelies look is all about. nice score on the tread! theres a set of 315 MT/R's here locally, and im so tempted grab em. but im only on 4.30's ladymatic, so i think id need to regear.
youre running 4.88's on a 5speed yes? any noticable powerloss?
[hijack] got any closeup pics of your hi-lift mount? im thinking of putting mine there too, but kinda above on the top bar as ive got 2 mounting holes there. yours doesnt seem to have them or maybe they do & cant see em?

I was running, and still have 295 Nitto's on Classic Locks. They are a good all around tire, but the wheels are not good for wheeling. These 315's are really only meant to be my wheelin' tires.
I am still running 4.30's and it isn't really that bad compared to the 295's. Although, I will have an ultimate crawler before I wheel again.
My ARB has those holes too, these are the Con-fer rack mounts welded to the front. The bumper had them on it when I got it.

The pinch weld is gone, I have trimmed the flare and actual fender. I have also pounded back the inner fender. This was all done to clear the 295's fully stuffed to the bump stops. I think the 315's will still rub when flexed. I plan to tub the backs of the front fenders when I have time.

I run those tires (33's) on my FJ40. They are a really nice and affordable mud tire. I have no complaints since I use them exclusively for trail riding and occasional daily driving. Nothing fancy, but they get the job done.

No problem on the test fit, since I won't run them all the time you can try them the next time I take them off.
Remember, I am planning a NM4WAW (New Mexico 4Wheelin' Adventure Weekend) over the 4th of July. You will have to come hang with us.

Yeah I'd like to try them on sometime when you have them off...thanks man. Where can I get more info on this NM4WAW?? I was planning on camping up in Cuba for the 4th, but its not to late to change up plans.

Looks great Jim, I know the Nitto's arent for wheelin, BUT you have to admit there some of the best tires in the RAIN.
