How to remove fog light bulb?

so i do have to take out the whole assembly and take it apart. OK i just didnt want to do this and find out later that there was an easy way. Thanks

There are 3 small phillips screws on the bottom of the housing. Remove them and pull the cover off to expose the bulb. There is a retaining clip holding the bulb in place. Pretty simple swap.

I've never had to remove the housing... If it's the Hella Micro DE ones you are talking about, then you don't have to. All you do for those is pull off the rubber gromet, undo the wiring connection, and undo the retaining clip. No screwing, and can be done in under 1 minute. Now if you have the other kind of foglights I have no clue, I have the Hellas.

My 2000 came with the Stanleys and the only way to change the bulb is to remove the 3 screws on the bottom to expose the bulb. I would assume the 99's are the same. I didn't know they put Hellas in 01's??
