How much for my truck?
I own a 1993 toyota pickup 4x4 5 speed with the 22re motor in it. It has 134,000 miles on it. The body of the truck is in great shape with only a few minor door dings. The truck is waxed every 4-6 months and kept up very well. I am in the market to buy a 2004 tacoma and my question is what can I get for my truck selling by myself? Kelley Blue Book rated it a $7,005 but that seems really high! The guy at the stealership told me around $6,500, so what can I expect to get for my truck? Thanks

There is a '95 4runner 22re, 5sp, here in town for $6500 that hasn't sold in a few months. I picked up my '93 4Runner with 114k, 22re 5sp, no power options for $5200 (I had gotten to a point of desperation and wouldn't have even bought it otherwise :pat: ) in Salt Lake this year and it is in minty shape except for some classic 22re piston slap noise.
The price sounds maybe a tad high to me, but like they say, "location, location, location!" so things may be different where you are.
Don't forget the dealer will do his best to make you think things will always wind up costing you less than they really will so if he can make you think you can come up with plenty dinero when you sell your own he is more likely to sell his to you.

Brier? Ya that's a pretty nice area. I used to live up at Martha Lake!! I'd list it at $6500 and hope some richie type from Mill Creek will snap it up for their kid. If nobody snags it then drop your price. Nothin ventured nothin gained.
Best of luck!!
