How do you remove a headlight assembly?
The lens on the passenger side headlight assembly got hit by a rock and now I have a BB size hole on the lens. I want to fix it using some epoxy based glue, but can't figure out how to remove the whole assembly to drain the rain water that's got in there.
Where are the screws keeping it in place? Do I need to remove the grill first?
Any pointers would be appreciated!

welcome to yotatech...start by taking the corners lights off then remove the grill real pita just have to pull on it really hard after all that unscrew the little trim piece under the headlight then remove the 4 10mm bolts need a long extension you will see what i mean once you get into it

well on my 97 i had to remove the grill by messing with those clip thigns. push em up/down towards each other and u can try and fiddle with the thing to get em all out without clipping back in, but i stuck toothpicks in the holes once they were out to prevent em from re-clipping. its hard to explain but when you look at it youll know what i mean (if its the same on your 02)
next remove the corners and the plate below the headlight by unscrewing one end and taking the other side off. then theres the 4 10mm socket bolts to remove the whole assembly
if you want to take the glass off, you can throw it in the oven for a while till the glue gets soft and pry it open with a screwdriver...up to u but good luck with it
