Heat it and pull it off. You'll probably have a change in color underneath it though. That's the only thing stopping me from doing it...

Ditto, I used a combo of bug and tar remover and goo gone, letting it soak for 15-20 min. then slowly and gently scraped it off with my thumbnail. Fingernails a softer than the clear coat and won't leave scratchs that a good prewax cleaner can't get rid of. The color was a little darker undernear. after a year and a good wax or two it was back to the same color, of course I haven't really seen it clean in a good number of months

When I was all done my friend told me about this stuff that works better, can't remember the name. Something like red 23 (I know they make snowboard gear, but it's something to that effect I think)

it was actually pretty time consuming. you would get a nice strip to start coming off then all of a sudden it would tear off and you have to start from where it ripped. its not too bad, just use what they said, goof off works good for the glue.

From: Sacramento,
should be easier on 2nd gen

I bought a heat gun to do my first generation. Used all kinds of removal stuff that pretty much just made more goop. It was ten years baked on and faded. I took wooden spatula (sanded down one side to make a soft scraper) and that helped alot with the glue. Also those bondo spreaders help with the goop removal.

If you are going paint it be careful about the glue leaking through. I had to resand and apply primer on those areas several times before color went on.

I used this little eraser wheel that attached to a high rpm drill and it took them right off, as long as you don't hold it in one place too long otherwise it can burn right through the paint. After that I just waxed and buffed. Did this on my white one I owned 3 years ago and just recently on my dark metallic blue one. Neither really showed any color difference.

From: Sacramento,
There was absoulutely no way a pressure washer was gonna touch my stickers. I spent well over twelve hours getting them off. All that time in the california sun had pretty much fused them to the damn truck.
