How do I get it off without breaking it?

Anyone know how you take off the outer ring I have outlined? I'm hopeing my inclinometer will be here tomorrow and I want to mount it on the dash and wire the light to come on or off with my lights. I may just wire it to my ashtray light or one of my outlets. The dash has an open space just under it so that I can put a whole in and then snake it down behind this flange over the radio and down to where I want to pick up the power. I have never had this piece off and don't want to break it.Thanks for any info you may have. Mike[IMG][/IMG]

Thanks Mike, That really helps and it's a good thing I ask because I really never thought there was any screws holding that flange on, Mike

There are two screws behind the air conditioning controls. Pull the dials and get a 90 degree angle pick to remove the plate. You then need to pull the ash tray out and there are three screws you need to remove. Two hold on the ash tray plate. Pull the plate down and towards you and remove the light. The last screw is back behind the ash tray.

Once you do that pull from the bottom till it comes out then the top will pull out easy.
