High Idle

High Idle
Hello,
My runner was wrecked in 2004 and has sat around since 2 weeks ago. I am putting it back together. Finally got it running and it idles high. Cold it will idle correctly around 1200 rpm, but when it gets warmer it goes up not down. It will get up to 1800 rpms at times. Im just running it around the yard for now, so it hasnt been over 15mph. I have taken off and cleaned the throttle body but i cannot remove the IAC from the throttle body itself. The stupid little phillips head screws are siezed in there and i will round them off if i try any harder. Why the heck didnt they use hex cap screws? So i cleaned it with about 1 can of brake kleen through all the holes in it till it now comes out clear. So i put it back together and it still idled high. Back to the forum, i found out it could be the CTS. Replaced that but still idles high. I also saw someone unplugged the TPS, so i did, nothing happened and it threw PO120, TPS circuit malfunction. I reset it with my OBD-2 code reader, but no other codes came up. The vacuum lines are all attached, and have small cracks at the end, but i played with them with the engine running and there was no change. I got the gasket for the IAC, but i just cant get it off the throttle body, steel and aluminum are not good together here.... Any help is greatly appreciated!

Ok, just took the throttle body out again. Put a way to big impact driver on it and got 2 of the bolts out, and stripped the other two. But i got them out with a pair of needle nose vise grips. I see how the IAC works now. I will get more brake kleen tomorrow to clean it and reinstall it tomorrow night. The little magnetic piece holds the rotating assembly open with about a little over a 16th of an inch air gap. Is that normal?

Thanks, if i run into any more issues i will check those.
Im really not sure how these engines are classified, i think its a 5vze something like that? I dont know what its timed at? What should it be? How can you change it if i check it? (I do have a timing gun) I unplugged the TPS and nothing happened, not sure what that should be adjusted to either.
