HI and Goodbye!
Hi everyone!
I have some news of minor note, but you all were so helpful with me I thought it was only right to post a note about it.
I sold my trucks. The offices where I work have been moved, and I need a high mpg little car or I will go broke ( I have one already actually) and the new apartment I am moving to I cant have project trucks sitting around. I would just keep them out on the farm but I really don’t have the time to monkey with them as much as I would like. One of my friends needs a good truck so I offered them to him for what I paid, and we are both happy. I wanted to thank you all for the help, and I showed him this site (I am, right now) and he is going to join up too.
Half the side of the bed fell off the other day so he will have fun building a new bed to suit his need. I didn’t realize practically the whole bed sides were bondo and screens, and it didn’t take much to shake it loose. LOL He is happy as the cab and frame is in fine shape, so it will last many yrs for him.
I think I am up for a raise…. I might go buy a brand new one.
Thanks for the help, I really appreciated it.
Someday I'll come back and show you my new truck…. If I ever buy one. If gas stays 3 bucks a gal I probably wont! (lie…I cant wait to go buy a new one LOL)
~tossing my keys to the new owner…..

I'm the new owner. Hello!
Ally was right, there sure is a lot here to read up on.
Shes right... the bed is mostly bondo, I think I air chisled off 100 pounds (well, a lot anyway) so far. The floor is solid so after a new wooden deck bolted on it should be as good as used.
I'm off to search for "flatbed designs"....
